The Vienna Gaels GAA Club will host a major football tournament for the first time this year. They have been chosen from all the clubs in Europe to host the tournament and expect approximately 300 players to be in attendance. It will be a full day program, with matches scheduled from 09.00 - 18.00 and an evening reception also. Hosted by the Austro-Irish Society and sponsored by the Irish Embassy in Vienna, two very talented musicians, Albin Paulus and Sigrid Massenbauer will give a talk about the history and demonstration of Traditional Irish musical instruments such as the harp, the tin whistle, spoons and pipes.
